During the days of the epidemic that is closing in on Jerusalem, Miriam enters "Yeshua" – a women's balance house that was established as an alternative to conventional psychiatric hospitalization. Miriam documents the intimate lives that are revealed to her and the women living together in one closed house – their vulnerability, their pain, their resistance to life. At the same time as she approaches the residents, the heroine visits her own memories and becomes part of an alternative matriarchal community, with unique rules, routines and language. These provide her with a place of refuge, safe living conditions, a habitat to take cover in.
