How Long Does It Last Now was written in October 2023 after "Black Sabbath", from a game the author played with her granddaughter Neri. The book accompanies Neri and the giraffe in the house that changes before their eyes, closing off to the outside and filling with new feelings. The book may serve as an opening for a conversation between parents and their children, an echo of the sadness and uncertainty that surrounds us all, and is accompanied by illustrations that stimulate the imagination. Dr. Orna Reuven, Neri's grandmother, is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst. In her study there are light blue armchairs, golden deer, small clocks and coasters. There, Neri's grandmother listens and thinks.
